     a. 2008 Presidential Candidate
       i. Andrew Coffey spoke about his work with the new Middle East center on campus, which will be hosting forums and a speaker series this semester. Has also been in contact with presidential candidate Mitt Romney. His e-mail address is acoffey5@radford.edu
     b. Committee appointments
       i. SGA members were appointed for Off Camus Student Council, Student Finance Committee, and  
     c. Office hours
       i. Remember to do your office hours   
IV. Executive VP report
     a. SGA Make up retreat
       i. Tuesday night at 6 in the SGA office. It is mandatory if you have been contacted.
     b. Ring ceremony
        i. Volunteers are needed October 5th from 3 to 630
V. Legislative Vice President Report
     a. Fall Elections
        i. Election packets are now available and are due September 21st. There will also be 3 interest meetings which are mandatory. September 5th, 13th, 18th @ 7 PM in room 248 of the Bonnie.
VI. Senate Report
     a. Senior Class Senator - Collegiate Readership Program
        i. Collegiate Readership Program is a campus wide newspaper distribution program available to college campuses. There will be a trial period for this program. A representative is currently being contacted.
     b. Junior Class Senator – Diversity Program
        i. There will be a presentation and budget request for “A Taste for Diversity”, a diversity week program, next week.
VII. Chief of Staff report
        a. Meeting after the SGA meeting. 
        b. First year council will meet at Wednesday, September 12th from 5 to 6 pm in the Virginia room of Heth.
VIII. Cabinet/Staff Reports
        a. Jordan Draper has a retreat for her position at William and Mary on the 15th. Contact her if you are interested in attending.
