     a. Approved
V. Presentation of Guests
     a. Dr. Lerch
       i. Dr. Lerch came in to present the new general education plan for Radford University.
       ii. The general education plan has not been changed in 30 years and the board of directors has asked for the core curriculum to be changed by fall of 2008.
     b. Dr. Van Patton
       i. Dr. Van Patton presented the framework for the new program. It includes reduced core hours, from 52 to 43 hours. 
VI. President’s Report
     a. Jordan Draper was approved as the new Chief of Staff

     a. Office hours will are being recorded and will be reviewed soon. You will receive a probation letter if you have not met the required amount of office hours.

VII. Senate Reports
     a. Senior class senator – funding factory recycling program
       i. Ashley is looking into a fundraising recycling program for cell phones and printer cartridges. 
       ii. This is a free program. The items have to be shipped out but shipping is paid 
for. 
       iii. A motion was approved to start the recycling program.
     b. Junior Class Senator – Talent show
       i. The Talent Show has been changed to March 20th from 7-10 pm

     a. Contact Jordan if you need to send out an SGA thank you letter.
IX. Cabinet/Staff Reports

     a. There are positions open in the College of Education and Human Development, The College Health and Human services, and the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences and Athletic Promotion Coordinator.
       i. Nominations will be taken at next weeks SGA meeting.
