Hello, my name is Nana "T-Chee" Kum
and here are a few goals I have highlighted for
the 07-08 school calendar year:
- Coordinate a
campus wide diversity program entitled "A Taste
For Diversity" during diversity week, which will
showcase the different international backgrounds
that our University has to offer. This program
will host different international foods as well
as different genres of entertainment ranging
from belly dancing to west african dance. I hope
for this program to help the student body
embrace the different cultures surrounding us at
RU.
- Fundraise for
the Junior class so we can have a lot of money
to go towards Senior Week for the graduating
class of 2009.
- Plan many
events to bring the Junior class together.
- My most
important goal is to be there for the Junior
class as well as the student body as a whole. I
want you all to know that i am a voice for the
student body and if there are any questions or
concerns you may have, i encourage you to let me
know so i can bring it before the general body
meeting. I along with the members of the SGA
will make sure that any questions or concerns
anyone may have is well taken care of.
