Your Sophomore Class Senator

My name is Ashley Bolt, and I have so many things that I want to accomplish this year.  One thing that I am going to do is plan an awesome event to help unite the sophomore class as well as bring some entertainment to all of Radford University’s students.  I have a few ideas in mind but if there is any particular event that you may have in mind, please e-mail me and let me know because I’m open to anything.  Two ideas I have in mind are either to have an "RU Talent show" open to all students or to have a Battle of the Bands competition.  If you have any suggestions or ideas, I would really appreciate your input.

• I am also on the Safe Ride committee this year.  I think that it would be extremely beneficial for the bus system at Radford to run later at night and throughout the weekend.  Not only would it make students safer but it would also be really convenient when all the snow gets here.

• I am making school spirit one of my top priorities.  There are always things going on at Radford, we just need to get everyone more involved.  There are tons of sporting events going on, and I think our student athletes would love to have more support from their fellow students.  If you are interested in getting more involved with helping to increase school spirit, you can e-mail Emily Ewoldt at eewoldt@radford.edu.
